So, I guess it's time for an update. I thought I would be really good at keeping up with this blog, but it's been a month since I last wrote.

Here's an update on me: I'm finishing up the semester with only two more weeks to go. This has by far been the hardest semester for me. I took 18 credits which I've never done before, and now I know why! Luckily, I've been able to cut back my hours at work so I've had more time to focus on school. I also recently got accepted into the Masters in Education program at ASU. Yay! I'm pretty excited about it -- not so much about the whole going to more school part, but because I know it will be so worth it in the end! I'm finishing up my bachelors degree this summer with an internship at Arizona Literacy and Learning Center. The center focuses on screening children for early reading disabilities, and also remedial work with children and adults who have reading disabilities, primarily focusing on Dyslexia. I'm excited to work with them and I think I will learn a lot. The director has been in education for over 30 years, so she definitely speaks from experience. So, I've got a very busy couple of month ahead of me, but I'm looking forward to graduating, taking a month off, then starting grad school!

Ryan's update: He's been working for a web development company as an editor for a little over a month now. He's really enjoying his job and likes all the people he works with (which everyone knows is a plus in any job!). He works at Charleston's a couple night a week for a little much needed cash. He's still pluggin' away at that degree -- some days are better than others, but I know he will finish one day because we all know he's wicked smart and can do anything :) He's working on getting his entire family addicted to LOST (like we are). We watch the show at his parents house and he loves to stay after it ends and predict what is going to happen next week. I tell ya, that guy sure does have a great imagination!

Well, that's pretty much all I can think of for now. Sorry we don't have any new pics to post, but we haven't really done anything too exciting for awhile. Hope everyone is happy and healthy wherever you are. Bye!

How did you find time to even make that post? You and Ryan are probably two of the most busiest people I know. You are amazing! It was fun to card club it this weekend. We seriously, (in all the free time you have), need to plan on a scrapbooking night with us girls. :)
