Thanksgiving 2012

This Thanksgiving was a quiet one for us, which was actually really nice. It's the first time we've cooked our own Thanksgiving meal and ate at home, without extended family, but just the three of us.

I tried to get fancy with the table setting... but, I don't have fancy stuff. So, this is what we ended up with. :)
Ryan carving the turkey. It turned out well, we think. We did the whole brinning overnight thing, which honestly we're not sure if it made much of a difference, but we felt like we were legit turkey bakers by doing so.
Our spread. Everything turned out really yummy and we enjoyed the leftovers for days... another perk of having a small crowd to feed.
And then Eva learned out to put the black olives on her fingers and continued to do so for at least 20 minutes.

It was a nice Thanksgiving. We both agreed to we really love to be able to spend the holidays with family, but we still enjoyed our time together as a little family.
