Eva's First Camping Trip

We took Eva camping last weekend for the first time. Overall, the trip was a success, although I could have done without the rain on the second day. Eva thoroughly enjoyed herself as she was completely filthy, eating junk food, and staying up way too late. I enjoyed playing a few hands of rummy with my friend Liz. And we all enjoyed a late morning hike to the beach where Eva got to search for crabs under rocks. 

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a nice mellow day at home which is just what we needed because SOMEHOW our little lady picked up hand, foot, and mouth and is covered in red bumps. Bleh! I hate having a sick child. Here's to a speedy recovery!
